Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. While the bamboo undergoes several manufacturing steps to be qualified as a DentPlanet product, the carbon footprint of such process is far less than the plastic manufacturing. Moreover, it is compostable and renewable.
Are the bristles also natural?
Yes, for sure. It is a part of a DentPlanet product :)
The bristles are castor-oil based. Castor oil is a vegetable oil pressed from castor beans, which passes through several manufacturing processes in order to be transformed into bristles. This enables us to produce our products as 95% compostable toothbrushes.
For how long can I use the toothbrush?
Basically as normal toothbrush, the lifetime of the normal toothbrush is around 3 month. This period mainly depends on the frequency and force used during brushing.
